Hailing originally from Southern California, Alyssa Townsend has called the Bay Area home for 16 years, residing in Oakland for most of that time. In 2021, she embarked on her tattoo apprenticeship under the mentorship of Carolyn LeBourgeois @handoftheforge and now is excited to start the next chapter by joining the team at Aces Over Eights! Alyssa also runs Foolish Fetish, where she crafts unique laser-cut earrings among other items. Outside of her artistic pursuits, she enjoys going to metal and punk shows, riding motorcycles, lifting weights, and spending time with her close friends, partner, and black cat, Stagger Lee.
